Pain Management Medication

When a loved one reaches the point of needing end of life care, it can be overwhelming for them as well as for family/friends making decisions and trying to cope with what is to come. Palliative treatment can be used for hospice/end of life care as well as collaborative therapy for patients receiving curative medical treatments with harsh or unwanted side effects. Some examples of palliative care would include pain relief, reduction of anxiety, and treatment of nausea/vomiting.

The compounding team at John’s Pharmacy works closely with health care providers and caregivers to offer therapies that cater to a patient’s individual needs during this difficult time. Whether it is difficulty swallowing pills or liquids, to the inability to swallow at all, we are here to help.
